Route 66 featured in University Library photo exhibit, talk

A photo exhibit of Route 66, the iconic U.S. highway, will be on display through Friday, April 11, in the lobby of the University Library at University of Wisconsin-Stout.

The exhibit features 20 photos by John Lauson, an alumnus and retired UW-Stout employee. He recently traveled the 2,448-mile highway from Chicago to Los Angeles.

Lauson, from Chippewa Falls, also will give a talk about the exhibit and his trip at 4 p.m. Tuesday, April 8, at the library.

The library will have Route 66-related materials available to check out.
