Ramsaroop receives Classified Employee Appreciation Award

Sandra Bachoo Ramsaroop received the Classified Employee Appreciation Award for January.

Ramsaroop, who lives in Menomonie, works as a custodial lead on campus.

Sandra RamsaroopHer nomination stated: "Our building relies on her position heavily, and she has never brought anything but 100 percent effort to everything she does. Sandy keeps the student experience at the forefront of everything she does, and she is a great representative of the Physical Plant."

"She has repeatedly stepped up to take care of customers."

Chancellor Charles W. Sorensen presents each winner with a certificate of recognition, a UW-Stout coffee mug and a check for $100.

Students, faculty and staff may nominate a classified staff member who demonstrates a commitment to excellence and the university community.

The award was established by the chancellor to recognize classified employees at UW-Stout.
