Amy Styer named January Classified Employee

Amy Styer has been named Classified Employee of the Month for January.

Styer, who lives in Menomonie, works in the Financial Aid Office.

The individuals nominating her stated: “Amy consistently displays exemplary customer service skills; she is as comfortable working with our students and parents as she is in systems processing. Amy has a genuine interest in helping our customers, and they appreciate the professionalism and attention she pays them in interactions.” And, “She has established herself very quickly in her short time on campus and is a perfect example of what a Stout employee should and can be with a great attitude, strong work ethic and desire to grow.”

Chancellor Charles W. Sorensen presents each Classified Employee of the Month with a certificate of recognition, a UW-Stout coffee mug and a check for $50.

Nominations can be made by supervisors, fellow employees or students.

The award was established by the chancellor to recognize classified employees at UW-Stout.
