‘About Stout’ video available

February 15, 2012

A new edition of “About Stout,” a half-hour recorded informational video produced at the University of Wisconsin-Stout, has been completed and is available for online viewing.

The video features Doug Mell, executive director of communications and external relations, interviewing Chancellor Charles W. Sorensen and Darrin Witucki, director of the Memorial Student Center.

The video was shot outside the Fireside Café on the second floor of the Memorial Student Center, which recently reopened after undergoing a $19 million renovation project.

The video is streamed on the Internet and can be seen at http://www.uwstout.edu/content/lts/streams/melld/aboutstout120207.wvx

The show also is on more than a dozen public-access cable channels in Wisconsin and Minnesota. The show can be seen at 9 a.m. Tuesdays and 7 p.m. Wednesdays on the public-access channel — channel 96 on Charter Communications — of Chippewa Valley Community Television, CTV, in Eau Claire.

The show has been produced at UW-Stout since May 2007.

More information on the renovation project is available at http://www.uwstout.edu/news/UW-Stout-News-Story.cfm?formID=2198&pageID=65977
