Two University of Wisconsin-Stout students have received scholarships from the Print and Graphics Scholarship Foundation.
Sara Koller, of Stillwater, Minn., and Emily Tunison, of Osceola, were two of 12 nationwide recipients announced Monday, Jan. 6. The foundation is part of Printing Industries of America from Pittsburgh, Pa.
Both students are majoring in graphic communications management, which has been renamed cross-media graphics management. The program prepares students for careers in printing, graphics, imagery and associated industries.
Koller, who graduated Dec. 14, received the Regis Delmontagne Scholarship and the Webcrafters/Frautschi Scholarship for the fourth year.
Tunison received the Stull Harris and Webcrafters/Frautschi Scholarship, also for the fourth year.
Other scholarship winners were from Eastern Kentucky University, Clemson University, Western Michigan University, Georgia Southern University, Harrington College of Design, Ball State University and Appalachian State University.
Individuals, companies and associations provide annual and endowed scholarship funds to PGSF, which administers the scholarship and fellowship programs for the industry. The PGSF Board of Directors approved $385,000 to be awarded for scholarships in the 2012–2013 academic years.
