Mission Statement
The Office of Multicultural Student Services (MSS) exists to provide students with an exceptional educational experience at the University of Wisconsin-Stout (UW-Stout).
MSS provides a caring environment where ethnic minority students can receive academic support, advising, advocacy, and personal and social development.
MSS seeks to provide a comprehensive support system that encourages individual growth, academic achievement, and leadership development.
MSS programs and services are aimed at the recruitment, retention, graduation, and empowerment of ethnic minority students at UW-Stout.
MSS also serves as a university-wide resource for multicultural awareness, understanding of diversity issues, and the promotion of global education.
The mission of MSS is integral to the mission of UW-Stout.
