University of Wisconsin-Stout staff members Marilyn Miller and Bob Dodge were recent winners of the school’s Safety Recognition Award.
Miller, of Menomonie, is the dean’s assistant in the College of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences.
“I appreciate the opportunity to work in a setting where leadership makes a commitment to achieving safety performance excellence,” Miller said.
Dodge, Village of Rusk, is the inventory control coordinator in Procurement and Materials Management.
The safety award program recognizes individuals who demonstrate outstanding safe work practices.
A reception was held recently, and plaques were awarded to the recipients by Vice Chancellor for Administrative and Student Life Services Phil Lyons.
Faculty and staff may nominate fellow employees for the award. Nominations are reviewed by the Safety and Workers Compensation Committee.
