A game design professional will present at University of Wisconsin-Stout about the art and business of game design and development.
Jay Little, a senior game designer at Fantasy Flight Games of Minneapolis, will speak at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 5, in room 321 of the Applied Arts Building, 415 13th Ave. E. The title of his presentation is "The Development Process: Brainstorming and Ideation in Game Design."
The event is free and open to the public.
Little will be sharing his expertise about the development process behind popular board games and presenting some exercises on creative approaches to the game design process.
Fantasy Flight, www.fantasyflightgames.com, creates role-playing, board and card games. It is known for such titles as Star Wars X-Wing, Midnight, and Warhammer. He has helped design and develop the Star Wars Edge of the Empire Roleplaying Game, Star Wars X-Wing Miniatures, the new edition of Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay and Blood Bowl: Team Manager card game.
