Nearly 700 prospective students and their parents or guardians have registered for one of three Campus Preview Days to be held Wednesday, Thursday and Friday mornings, Oct. 16-18.
Fall traditionally is a popular time for high school seniors to visit college campuses.
The days' events begin at 8 a.m. at the Memorial Student Center with a continental breakfast and the chance to meet with officials from various campus offices and programs, such as financial aid, athletics, housing and the eStout laptop program.
The opening event will be followed by campus tours; a meeting with Admissions officials; and question-and-answer sessions with current students and academic program directors, followed by an optional lunch.
About 20 guides, including many students, will be giving the tours. To schedule a visit, register here or call 800-447-8688 (800-44-STOUT) or 715-232-1232.
Another preview day is scheduled Friday, Oct. 25, along with several in the spring. One also was held Oct. 11.
Those who can't attend Campus Preview Days can attend similar Stout Saturdays to be held Oct. 19 and Nov. 9 or schedule a personal visit through the Admissions Office.
UW-Stout, Wisconsin's Polytechnic University, offers 44 career-focused undergraduate programs. More than 97 percent of students typically are employed or are continuing their education within a year of graduating.
