Marianne Neidermyer was named Classified Employee of the Month for December at the University of Wisconsin-Stout.
The individuals nominating her stated: “Marianne’s dedication to service is outstanding. She was recently battling cancer, and throughout her treatment she continued to make it to work daily.
“The first step to success is showing up. While she is at work she is dedicated to customer service. “
And, “Marianne’s attitude toward customers and staff is always friendly and helpful. She goes out of her way to make sure the job gets done right, and her customers are as happy as possible with the outcome. Marianne’s total dedication to the campus and the customers is something we can all strive for.”
Neidermyer, who lives in Menomonie, works in Registration and Records.
Chancellor Charles W. Sorensen presents each Classified Employee of the Month with a certificate of recognition, a Stout coffee mug and a check for $50.
Nominations can be made by supervisors, fellow employees or students.
The award was established by the chancellor to recognize classified employees at UW-Stout.
