Network and Voice

Network

All campus computers, as well as any mobile devices which utilize the campus wireless, need to be registered to access the campus network and Internet. To register, first connect to the StoutSecure wireless network or plug into a wired network port and launch a preferred web browser (i.e. Internet Explorer). Systems should automatically be directed to http://net.uwstout.edu/ (this address can also be typed into your browser’s address bar). Users will be prompted first to read and agree to the Information Technology Acceptable Use Policy as well as enter a UW-Stout username and password. Computers having both wired and wireless capabilities will require two device registrations. Each user is allowed up to five devices and registrations may be deleted by visiting net.uwstout.edu.
