Blackboard Collaborate is a synchronous web conferencing tool that is integrated with Learn@UW-Stout (D2L). Tutorials include moderator and participant guides which provide information on the most widely used features of Blackboard Collaborate.

System Check and Requirements

  1. To ensure that your computer is capable of using Blackboard Collaborate, users must perform a system check to ensure you have a supporting Operating System and version of Java installed. Click here to perform a system check.
  2. A microphone and speakers or headset with microphone is required to use the audio component. It is recommended that you use a headset with microphone, if possible. Learning Technology Services (LTS) does not provide these items.
