Technical Support for Classrooms and Labs
Our technical team is involved in the design, installation and support of these multimedia classrooms. We offer technical support for 89 generally-assigned classrooms and 72 departmental labs across campus. All of these room are considered multimedia rooms, minimally equipped with an installed LCD projector, a room sound system, and a teaching station with a laptop connections to the network and the projector. Many of the multimedia classrooms also have video and DVD players and some have document cameras.
Our technical team is also available to provide individual and group training sessions on how to best use the multimedia capabilities available to the instructor. See our Training and Workshops page for more details.

Millennium Hall, UW-Stout's Technology Hub
Millennium Hall is the hub of technology at UW-Stout, and holds the only full motion videoconferencing rooms on campus. Two fully-equipped tiered classrooms seat up to 50 people each, have wired and wireless internet capability at all tables, and control systems at the instructor stations. Presenters can connect their own laptops to an easy-to-use system, allowing them to display not only their laptop but also the room-resident DVD and VHS players. Lavaliere and handheld microphones are available for presenter use, and desktop microphones are also located on all tables. The room is fully interactive, allowing video, web and audio conference participation by all in the room.

Tiered lecture facility, including movable seats, and fixed tables which hold microphones, wired internet and power plugs
Teaching/presenting station, equipped with wireless microphones, touch panel controls, wired internet connections, telephone connection, cabling to connect the presenter's laptop computer, power, and access to all multimedia and lighting for the room
Video projectors and screens display computer, VHS and DVD video, and videoconference equipment
Works in synch with the Millennium Hall video studio and control room
