Add Wireless Software for Projectors

Installing the Wireless Client

Use these instructions to install the WPS client for the wireless displays in several of the University Library group study rooms.

Windows Laptop Instructions

  1. Download the Projector Client.
  2. Open the WPS_PC.zip file.
  3. Install WPS-WiD-ENT PC.exe.
  4. Follow the on-screen prompts and install the client.
  5. The client should automatically start after installation.

MAC Laptop Instructions

  1. Download the Projector Client.
  2. Install the WPS_MAC.zip file.
  3. Install WPS-WiD-ENT MAC.dmg.
  4. Follow the on-screen prompts and install the client.
  5. The client should automatically start after installation.

Connecting/Disconnecting to the Wireless Projector

  1. Turn on the projector.
  2. Enter the server IP address, and then enter the login code found on the lower left corner of the projector.
  3. Click ok. 
  4. To disconnect the projector, simply close the application and turn off the projector by pressing the power button on the remote two times.

Connecting/Disconnecting to the TV

  1. Turn on the TV (make sure that you are connected to the HDMI source/input).
  2. Enter the server IP address, and then enter the login code found on the upper left corner of the TV screen.
  3. Click ok.
  4. To disconnect the TV, simply close the application and turn off the TV by pressing the power button on the remote.
