Loan Periods for Faculty/Staff
Faculty and staff loan periods at the University Library and every other UW System library are consistently set for the term of semester.
At Stout, this loan period applies to books in the Main Library collection--not to videos (VHS or DVD), Multimedia materials, EMC (K-12), Browsing Area books, or Theses.
Due dates for UW-Stout Main Collection books are :
- December 30 - For books checked out for fall semester
- May 30 - For books checked out for spring semester
- August 30 - For books checked out for summer session
There is an option of two renewals (up to a one year loan). Because Stout has a very high percentage of titles unique to the UW System libraries, items needed by others may be recalled.
Other UW System libraries' specialized collections will also have special, shorter loan periods.
