Periodicals Microfilm

The Periodicals Stacks include BOTH paper and microfilm formats of magazines, journals, and newspapers, commonly called "periodicals".

They are shelved alphabetically by title of the periodical. Ex: Newsweek

Due to their high use, periodicals are not checked out, but photocopying facilities are provided.

Current Periodicals DisplayNewspapers and Current Periodicals Display Area

Newspapers are kept in hanging files in the last row of the Periodical Stacks. Some newspapers may also be on microfilm, such as back issues of New York Times. Newspapers in microfilm format are in the Periodical Stacks.

In the Current Periodicals Display Area, you will find the latest issues of newspapers and some of the current issues of selected, high-use magazines and journals. They are arranged alphabetically by title.

microfichePeriodicals Microfiche

Periodicals that have been reproduced onto microfiche are located in cabinets along the southwest brick wall. They are filed alphabetically by title.
