Education
Becky is a child of the past as she attended a one-room country school with 13 students in 8 grades. She was the smartest student in her class and also the only student in her class!
She has a BS in English Education with a minor in Library Science from UW-Platteville. She has also attended UW-Eau Claire to obtain a 905 graduate certification in Library Science and to maintain her teaching certification.
Becky came to the Library in 1987.
Responsibilities
Becky is a cataloger and helps build and maintain the Stout Library Catalog database. She also works in serials and is responsible for checking in the periodicals and newspapers.
Hobbies
Becky and her husband Bob do woodworking together and build furniture for family and friends. Fortunately, both their children’s families now reside in Menomonie, so they spend as much time as they can with their four grandchildren Bethany, Maia, Makayla, and Dominik. They also maintain a large yard and spend summer weekends biking around the area on their Harley.
They enjoy traveling and have been to 49 states, six European countries, and six Canadian provinces. Becky also likes to knit, crochet, cross stitch, read, collect dolls, decorate extensively for every holiday, and photograph their family and travels.
