distance education and online students is parallel to service for campus
students. Service is based upon the
Guideline for Distance Learning Library Services by the Association
of Colleges and Reseach Libraries.
To Begin
Following are brief web tutorials to expedite your start-up on email and accessing library resources. You must have Flash Player installed on your computer to play these files. These are large files--allow time to load.

In order to utilize library resources, activate your UW-Stout email account. Distance Learning students will HAVE TO change the default password.

- Instructors provide periodical articles online through courseware (Learn @UWStout) for their classes with electronic library reserves.

- Meet with a reference librarian regarding specific research needs. In-Person, telephone and email consultations are all available.
