Program Description

Traveling to Thailand offers a rich cross cultural opportunity to study Thai society and the minority cultures-ranging from the Hill Tribes of northern Thailand to the Sea Gypsies and Muslims of Phuket in the south. This 20 day study abroad program offers undergraduate and graduate students a rare opportunity to discover “Amazing Thailand”--its’ people, religions and cultural diversity. The faculty leading this program is Dr. Bruce Pamperin of the UW-Stout Social Science Department. Prior to departure, Dr. Pamperin will hold a required half day program orientation.
