Program Description
This four week exchange program allows students to gain international experience in the heart of Europe while earning credit towards their degree. Depending on the school, the Hessen International Summer University Program provides various courses in European and German studies and German language, as well as courses in content specific areas such as business, engineering, law, and health. Courses are taught in English and German. Students will also participate in planned excursions and cultural events. It is important to note that the ISU programs are quite competitive and space for Wisconsin students is limited. Due to this, students are required to prioritize their ISU university choices. After the student is accepted by UW-Stout, UW-Milwaukee will make a decision about each student’s university placement. More information can be found at the Wisconsin-Hessen Exchange
