Computer Connections/Wireless Access
One of UW-Stout's primary goals is to be The School of the 21st Century. To meet this goal the school provide laptops and access to a high speed network.
Within the residence halls each room is equiped with at least one and most cases two high high speed data jacks. These jacks provide 100 Mbps connections to our network. In addition to wired connections in the residence halls there are wireless connections in public spaces. These services are mainted by our Technical Services department.
