First Year Experience (FYE)
About the program:
In order to enhance the academic success of freshman students,
UW-Stout has created a "First Year Experience" (FYE) program.
The FYE program will enhance the educational experience of first
year students through locating some academic advisor offices in
the residence halls, by involving the faculty more closely into
the halls, increasing block scheduling, sponsoring more academic
activities and workshops, and through other initiatives all designed
to help students succeed. This FYE program will be located in AF,
CKTO, HKMC, and South Halls. All freshmen will be located on South campus.
