Working out the Kinks

What: Wellness Hours presents "Working out the Kinks" - learn about how you can stretch and exercise to feel better day-to-day.  Take part in demonstrations with foam rollers and other tools

When: Wednesday, November 12th | Session 1 @11:30 AM - 12:15 PM | Session 2 @ 12:30 PM - 1:15 PM

Where: Cedar/Maple, Memorial Student Center

Stop by, drop in, grab a free cup of coffee, enter the raffle and stretch! Registration is not required, but it is recommended.

Campus Sustainability Day: Dam Nation


When: Thursday, October 23, 6:30pm


Where: Applied Arts 210


Details: This powerful film odyssey across America explores the sea change in our national attitude from pride in big dams as engineering wonders to the growing awareness that our own future is bound to the life and health of our rivers. 

DamNation’s majestic cinematography and unexpected discoveries move through rivers and landscapes altered by dams, but also through a metamorphosis in values, from conquest of the natural world to knowing ourselves as part of nature.

  • Paddling experience not required
  • Trip will include hiking and exploring in Arches National Park
  • Sign up & pay $650 registration fee by Monday, March 3rd
