In order to be a more effective leader (or follower), it’s important to have an understanding of who you are in relation to others. These workshops will help you understand and enhance your personal and professional relationships.

Creating Excellent Organizations (CEO)

In order to develop excellent organizations, it’s important to understand the tasks and processes associated with highly successful organizations. All workshop topics are selected based upon student leader scope of responsibility, institutional history, and regional/national program recommendations. Workshops are free and open to everyone!

All Establishing Leadership Pattern workshops are open to any member of the UW-Stout community, and are sponsored by University Centers’ Involvement and Leadership Center. Workshops runs on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 4:40pm - 5:30pm.

Certificates

The Certificate program is OPTIONAL. After participating in ten workshops and a small group interview, students are eligible for a certificate that validates time spent Establishing Leadership Patterns (ELP). The Certificate program is SELF-PACED (take as many semesters as needed to complete the ten workshops and interview). Students may obtain more than one ELP Certificate over time. Certificate Interviews: scheduled the week of November 26, participants will have a worksheet to complete prior to the interview that will guide the interview conversation. Small group interviews last 30 minutes. Certificates will be presented at a reception held at the December 6 Thursday Night Out (TNO).

Career Services offers 37 workshops this semester! All workshops are offered in 103 Administration Bldg. Any 2 career services workshops can count toward the ELP Certificate.
