Dialogue is the focus of two major programs:
"LET IT OUT!" Dialogues are held monthly. Dialogues are free and open to the public. Controversial topics are suggested by the campus community - then the Ally Center staff seek presenters and content material. Multiple views of a topic are presented during each program. Participants learn about one another's opinions of the topic via the process of Dialogue. The Dialogue Series is free. Dates for 2007-2008 are: October 18, November 14, February 13,March 12, and April 16. Dialogues are held from 6:00 to 7:30pm in the MSC.
InterGroup Dialogue is a 12 hour program, offered Friday night (5-9pm) and all day Saturday (9:30am-5pm) once each semester in the Memorial Student Center. InterGroup Dialogues help participants understand personal cultural background in relation to others, and explore issues of diversity and privilege in American society. IGD is facilitated by students and staff members, and is held on campus.
