Multimedia Design Association (MDA)

The purpose of this organization is to enhance the learning experience of students in, but not limited to, the Multimedia Design Program. MDA also works to promote students, the Multimedia Program, and the Art & Design Department, and UW-Stout through Activities, Speakers, Professional Interaction, Learning Sessions, etc.

National Art Education Association

maintains and promotes a high standard for art education on campus.

American Hospitality Professionals (AHP)

offers its members the opportunity to observe sales and marketing procedures as practiced in the hospitality industry.

Club Managers Association of America

organizes and promotes the technical and practical applications of the profession.

Council for Exceptional Children (CEC)

promotes the advancement of the education of individuals with exceptional needs

Food and Beverage Distribution Association

introduces members to the various career choices in the food beverage distribution industry. Activities will include: guest speakers, analysis of current trends, tours of the distribution industry.

Food Systems and Technology Professionals

participates in networking with faculty, staff, fellow students, alumni, and food systems and technology industrial professionals, and provides future internship or business contacts while encouraging fellowship.

Guidance and Counseling Club

promotes social and professional activity in our field. Hotel/Motel Management Association (HMMA) enables prospective Hotel/Motel managers to define and analyze the nature of working in a Hotel/Motel setting. International Food Service Executive Association promotes the advancement of food service executives.

Menomonie Association for the Education of Young Children (MAEYC)

assists professionals working with young children and others interested in the lives of young children to better understand children's needs.

Mental Health Alliance

is a group of students either in the graduate Mental Health Counseling program or interested in the field of Mental Health Counseling.

Phi Upsilon Omicron

recognizes and encourages academic excellence, personal leadership, and encourages professional and personal commitment to advance home economics.

Psi Chi

encourages, stimulates, and maintains the excellence in scholarship of the individual members in all fields, particularly psychology.

Restaurant Tavern Management

gives members a chance to learn, gain expericence, and to network with industry professionals by visiting restaurants and receiving small tours/presentations along with a sampling of their food. meets regularly to give members the chance to discuss what is going on in the H & T major.

expands the horizons of students who become involved with the basic concepts of Resort and Property Management.

is a pre-professional organization for students interested in pursuing family studies and human development careers.

Stout Student Dietetic Association

educates students and community on health issues, including a healthy lifestyle, and reinforces the importance of professionalism to dietetic majors.

Stout Vocational Rehabilitation Club

promotes knowledge and awareness or rehabilitation, helps create acceptance for handicapped people as equal human beings and citizens, and assists in projects which are related to helping the handicapped.

provides the opportunity to gain further insight into the technological, educational, business, and creative aspects of apparel textile design.

Epsilon Pi Tau

is a fraternal organization for students who have completed 45 semester hours of credit with a scholastic record of 3.0 or better within the Industrial Education and Industrial Technology majors at UW-Stout.

A professional organization that mirrors the activities of high school DECA and gives its members a chance to practice what they learn in the classroom before they graduate while having fun. We welcome students of any major.

Graphic Communication Exchange
