Center for Applied Ethics

2013_01522It is the mission of the Center for Applied Ethics to promote ethics education to all members of the UW-Stout community by providing services and resources that enable students to become ethical leaders and role models. Through teaching, research, and service, the Center is the campus home to ethics initiatives for all programs and departments.

The generous support from an anonymous donor in 2009 led to the Center’s inception. With this donation, we have been able to:

  • Establish an Endowed Chair in Ethics
  • Provide campus-wide instruction on ethics
  • Develop ethics coursework and ethics assessment models
  • Engage in national and internationally-recognized research

Our future initiatives include:

  • Student scholarships
  • Faculty-in-Residence programs
  • Expanded ethics offerings
  • Advancing our research initiatives

2013_01523Your support will continue to serve our students today and for generations to come. With your support, at any dollar amount, you will enable the faculty and staff to better fulfill the educational experience of our students. Thank you for your support of the Center for Applied Ethics.
