University of Wisconsin - Stout

"Stout continues to be unique as an institution. The significance of 'Learning, Skill, Industry, Honor' has not been allowed to diminish."

Clyde Bowman, July 21, 1962

Named after Clyde Bowman and the tower that bears his name, the Bowman Society recognizes individuals who have demonstrated their belief in the future by making a life income gift and/or included UW-Stout in their estate plans.

Oftentimes, the Stout University Foundation learns of such a gift when it is received, which can be too late to say thank you. The Bowman Society allows us to say "thank you" for these gifts of a lifetime.

The names of Bowman Society members are prominently displayed near "The Quill" in the Memorial Student Center where they recognize the members' generosity and encourage the gifts of others.

Criteria for inclusion in Bowman Society
