Since 1965, the Stout University Foundation has counted on private funds to support scholarships, laboratories, research materials and other academic programs not funded by state aid and tuition.

Tuition revenue provides about 28 percent of the cost of a top quality education for students at UW-Stout. Annual fund dollars help ensure UW-Stout continues to provide world class programs and professional opportunities to our students.

The annual fund enables Stout graduates, parents and friends of the university to have more flexibility in their gifts. The annual fund combines the fundraising efforts of the four colleges, all majors and all other academic programs into one solicitation for greater efficiency to the donor. Unless otherwise restricted, your gift will be directed to the general fund of the college which you graduated.
