Why am I interested in the College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences?
The CAHSS is extremely important because it teaches about the things that make us human. With the humanities and social sciences UW-Stout prepares students with an understanding on how people interact with each other on a scale from local to global region. Advancing technology has been and will continue to be a catalyst for social and economic change. Art is a language on its own, though styles change from culture to culture it is part of humanity to desire to create something beautiful and share it with others. The ability to express emotions and ideas through artistic mediums is a priceless ability.

Why are these great programs for students?
The programs UW-Stout has are simply amazing. My time here as a student thus far, has been perfect. The instructors want to prepare and teach me while allowing the freedom to explore the content of the classes that I find interesting and they always challenge me to do a little better. I have never seen such growth and learning in myself and my friends than I have here. UW-Stout will give you all the tools you need to be successful.

What is something I would recommend about these majors?
Pick a field you are passionate about and pursue it. There is such a wide array of programs available in the College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences there is something for everyone; it truly is a wonderful college.
