AAUW Racine Scholarship The Racine, Wisconsin Branch of the American Association of University Women is offering a $3,000 scholarship to a female student who will be enrolled as college Junior in September 2010. BigSun Scholarship The BigSun Organization is proud to be able to continue to help young athletes succeed in their academic pursuits. We are offering an annual scholarship to a deserving student. All student athletes are eligible for this award, regardless of which sport they are participating in. Robbinsdale High Schools Scholarship This scholarship is for students who have graduated from Robbinsdale, District #281 high schools (Robbinsdale HS, Robbinsdale Cooper HS, and Robbinsdale Armstrong HS). Students must have at least two years of college and will be entering their junior , senior, or graduate years. Financial need is also a factor. |

The Sallie Mae 911 Education Fund The Sallie Mae 911 Education Fund was created in response to the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001. The scholarship program is open to children of those who were killed or permanently disabled as a result of the terrorist attacks, and who are enrolled as full-time undergraduate students at approved, accredited institutions. Scholarship awards of up to $2,500 per applicant, per school year, are available and may be renewed on an annual basis, subject to satisfactory academic progress. Datatel Scholarship The Datatel Scholarship Foundation offers four unique scholarships, ranging in value from $1,000 to $2,500 to students attending eligible Datatel client institutions. Datatel Scholars Foundation scholarships are awarded to outstanding students currently attending Datatel client institutions. Angelfire scholarships honor military personnel who have served in the U.S. military during periods of combat. Russ Griffith Memorial scholarships provide assistance to current outstanding students who have returned to higher education after an absence of five or more years. Nancy Goodhue Lynch Scholarships are awarded to outstanding undergraduate students majoring in information technology related curriculum programs. |

of Industry Scholarship Awards The Icons Scholarship is open to exemplary students who have completed at least half of their programs working toward a degree that will lead to a career in the Hospitality Industry. It will require that the student have a minimum 3.0 GPA and have participated in a industry internship. Applicants are also required to provide a minimum of three industry references. Tag and Label Manufacturers Institute, Inc. Since 1997, the Tag & Label Manufacturers Institute has provided 58 grants to qualified college students entering their junior and senior years who are interested in the narrow web labeling industry. TLMI represents more than 300 tag and label converters and suppliers in the United States, Canada, and Mexico. Our members consist of key corporations within the rapidly growing multi-billion dollar label industry. Any student who qualifies for a scholarship would have an excellent job opportunity with one of these companies upon graduation. |

Engineering
WTBA Scholarship All Civil/Construction Engineering students are eligible, with special consideration to Wisconsin residence students with sophomore/junior status. The Wisconsin Transportation Builders Association will award a $2,000 scholarship to a student who is enrolled in Civil Engineering, Construction Technology, Construction Management and related curriculums. Preference will be given to those applicants who intend to pursue a career in the transportation construction industry. Applicants are required to submit all of the following documents in order to be considered for the $2,000.00 scholarship. Please indicate () items you have included in your application and forward to the Wisconsin Transportation Builders Association by October 15, 2009. Indicate if any materials are being sent by the university and therefore are not included. Student applicants are encouraged to ensure that all materials are sent to the Wisconsin Transportation Builders Association. |

AWS International
Scholarship Awarded to full time international students pursuing a minimum bachelors degree or equivalent in a welding or related field of study. The student must be in the top 20% of the institution's grading system. Proof of country citizenship is required. The student must have completed at least one year of welding or related field of study at a baccalaureate degree-granting institution. Official proof of acceptance from the academic institution is required. The International Scholarship Program is not available to students who reside in North America; i.e., Canada , United States , or Mexico. |

NSF Graduate Teaching Fellows in K-12 Education (GK-12) Through grants to academic institutions that award master's or doctoral degrees in NSF supported disciplines, the GK-12 program provides opportunities to highly qualified graduate and advanced undergraduate students to serve as science, mathematics, engineering, and technology resources in the Nation's K-12 schools. Expected outcomes include: improved communication and teaching-related skills for GK-12 Fellows, content gain and professional development opportunities for participating K-12 teachers, enriched learning by K-12 students, and strengthened partnerships between high education institutions and local schools.
