Research Interests

Primary:

Intersections of gender, religion, spirituality, and family life. Current research program investigates Protestants’ gender construction as it relates to family metaphors for God (e.g. God is a father).

Secondary:

Best practices , pedagogy, and technologies to promote student learning outcomes in distance education.
