Severson has been with the Discovery Center since October 2011.  Before coming to UW-Stout she was with UW-Eau Claire as budget manager in the Continuing Education office. The Discovery Center consists of Research Services, Stout Technology Transfer Institute (STTI), Partnership and Extension and Professional Education Programs and Services (PEPS).  As accountant, Severson manages all account and budget related issues for the Discovery Center which include grant funded programs including NWMOC, Center for Innovation and Development, and the Economic Development Administration-University Center. The primary responsibility of this position is the management of Discovery Center financial operation. In addition to this, she also oversee the management of the Center employment system and the management of the Center budget development process.
