Brief Biography

Dr. David M. Plum is a professor of management and past senior executive in corporate life. He is an innovative teacher with a devotion to education. Professor Plum holds a Doctorate and MBA in Organizational and Management and Bachelors in science. We have 10 children and 16 grandchildren

Teaching Interests: - Operations Management - Quality/Sustainability - Six Sigma - Strategy - Science - General management - Statistics - Entrepreneurship/Small Business - On-line instruction

Research Interests: Current research interests are directed toward pedagogical research in a variety of interrelated areas, including: - Quality - Six Sigma applications - Operations Management - Scientific subjects - Strategy development - Statistical approaches via design of experiments - General management - Leadership - Entrepreneurial activities and strategy - Distance Education - Bloom’s Taxonomy - Photo microscopy - Managerial ethics - Sustainability
