Research/Professional Service
Dr. Cochran's research interests include retail ethics, particularly the use of pre-employment integrity tests, and the causes of employee turnover. Her professional service activities focus on visual merchandising and store layout consultation for independent retailers.

Dr. Cochran is a member of the Association of College Professors of Clothing and Textiles and Delta Kappa Gamma. She frequently attends conferences sponsored by the National Retail Federation, the world's largest retail trade association.
