Brief Biography

Byron C. Anderson: Goes by Byron, Dr. Byron, Dr. Anderson, Professor Anderson. Once a farm kid from northern Wisconsin, near Ashland. For a spell a steel construction worker, rod buster. B.S. Radio/TV, 6 years, Wis. Public Broadcasting. M.S. Industrial Technology, then 5 years middle school & high school teacher. At UW-Stout since 1999; began in School of Education. Ph.D., Leadership in Higher Education, UW-Madison, Program Director for 7 years.

Teaching Interests: Courses of primary focus: Cybertechnology Ethics and Technology Impacts and Futures

Research Interests: Cyberethics, foresight studies, technology impacts.

Professional Interests: Teaching well. Forecasting. Cyberethics.
