The goal of ETS is to provide supportive services to individuals who have been underrepresented in the pursuit of higher education. Our aim is to assist individuals in completing high school and to enroll in postsecondary education. We are committed to student success and meeting the needs of the individual.
ETS services are free to the district, students and parents.
ETS is located on the University of Wisconsin-Stout campus in Menomonie, Wisconsin.
Students are accepted into the program based on need. Our program serves 700 students annually.
Students typically complete an application in 6th grade that spans their time in the program. Should your student be accepted into the program, you will be notified of their acceptance by mail. Because spaces in our program can become available during the school year, and because we intend to fill these spaces, we do not send letters to those not temporarily accepted into the program. Should you have a question about your student's status in the program, please call (715) 232-5010.
Are you new to the district or simply unaware of the ETS Program? If so, call (715) 232-1253 for an application.
UW-Stout's Educational Talent Search is a 100% federally funded TRiO Program serving 700+ students annually with $296,548 awarded per budget period.
