Scholar Program

In keeping with the mission and objectives of the Center for Applied Ethics, the CAE Scholars Program features three UW-Stout faculty/teaching academic staff for the 2012-13 year. The CAE Director and Associate Director appoint scholars.

For this first year of the program, faculty with a range of ethics experience will be selected:

  • A senior scholar who has conducted ethics research or scholarship, or who has developed coursework based on the CAE ethics infusion model. This scholar should be at the rank of Associate or Full Professor.
  • Two scholars from the rank of Assistant Professor or teaching academic staff will be appointed, based on their interest in and dedication to ethics education in their respective disciplines.
In consultation with the CAE Director and Associate Director, each scholar's agenda will be unique to their discipline and their own ethics-related interests.
