Program Details

Students are the focus of our e-Scholar program.  They are guided by the faculty and instructional staff through a variety of learning activities that promote interaction and collaboration.  Students are actively involved in their learning anywhere on campus, any time of the day or night.    The laptop is their tool to access, organize and store the information they will use both inside and outside the classroom. The laptop and wireless connectivity allows students to easily communicate with professors as well as peers through email, discussion threads and course management systems.

Students who will be entering in Fall semester will receive information from the Advisement Center about laptop deployment dates and times.  The deployment is conducted during Week One Orientation.   Students will receive the laptop, accessories, backpack and training on that day.  Student ID’s are required.

Graduate credits and Customized Tuition credits are not part of the e-Scholar program.  These credits do not apply towards eligibility.  If you have questions about your credit type and eligibility please contact Joan Wahl, 715-232-2649.

Special StudentsNew special students are included in the e-Scholar Program.  Please contact the Advisement Center for specific deployment days and times.
Audit Students:  Students, who are only registered to audit courses, will not be eligible to have a laptop computer assigned to them.  Audit students will be charged the e-Scholar fee and are eligible to utilize the laptop checkout program available at ASK 5000.
