The laptop should be brought to one of the Help Desks (322 Millennium Hall or 143 Science Wing) for repair. If the computer is found to be damaged during inspection by a University authorized repair technician, the University may charge the student a $50 fee for the first incident of damage and incrementally escalating $50 fee for each subsequent incident of damage. (Fifty for the first incident, $100 for second incident, $150 for third incident etc.) These amounts will be added to the student's University account. While the assigned laptop is being repaired, the student will receive a loaner laptop to use. Please note: Data back-up is the student's responsibility.
If accessories are missing when it is returned the laptop to the university, students will be charged for full replacement cost of each missing accessory.
