Inspiring partnerships for innovative and knowledge-driven solutions for business, student learning and economic development.
By applying Lean principles, organizations become customer focused, value-based and resource efficient – essential in today’s global environment. Applying Lean principles to office operations and organizational settings for the purpose of streamlining processes leads to greater efficiency and profitability.
Through the Discovery Center at University of Wisconsin-Stout, Wisconsin’s Polytechnic University, businesses from all industries are able to draw upon Lean experts to identify the opportunities and design and implement process solutions. The professionals in the Center for Operational Excellence work to shift the mindset of “we’ve always done it this way” in order to improve productivity, employee job satisfaction and, ultimately, customer service.
The process can include all or some of these steps: education in the way of an overview, assessment of the current situation, creation of a blueprint for reaching the end goal, assistance with implementation of the plan and follow-up monitoring. Staff will be trained to think Lean as a matter of habit, equipping them to creatively apply the principles to other processes.
We welcome the opportunity to discuss our lean solution offerings with you:
