| Access to FABLAB equipment requires orientation and training, both of which are offered on a regular schedule as posted by FABLAB staff. Once this training is successfully completed and documented, users are allowed to schedule time on equipment during open hours. Students enrolled in UW-Stout courses held in collaboration with the FABLAB will have preferred status during their scheduled class time. Materials consumed while working on FABLAB equipment are the responsibility of the user, however a small inventory is available for purchase in the FABLAB and will be charged to the student's account. Estimated costs of material for the 3-D printer will be provided by FABLAB staff when presented with a user's preferred design. |
