The menu recently earned a gold award in the Online Catering Menu category in the 2017 Loyal E. Horton Dining Awards from the National Association of College and University Food Services.

Fireside Café receives national recognition | June 2016

University Dining Service at UW-Stout has received national recognition for one of its campus dining locations.

The Fireside Café recently earned a silver medal in the multiple concepts/marketplace category in the 2016 Loyal E. Horton Dining Awards from the National Association of College and University Food Services.

Congratulations Arielle Charlier | June 2017

Arielle Charlier has been selected to receive a $5000 NACUFS Clark E. DeHaven Scholarship award. The Clark E. DeHaven Scholarship is intended to provide financial support to students who demonstrate a commitment to a foodservice career. Applicants must be currently enrolled in an accredited program that will lead to an undergraduate degree in a field of study designed to prepare students for careers in foodservice, or related areas. Parameters for selection include commitment to careers in foodservice professions, merit, traditional progress toward degrees, character, campus citizenship, campus involvement, volunteer activities, and financial need.

Arielle is a Student Manager for retail areas in the Student Center and serves on the Dining Advisory Committee.
