Duties:

Oversees all aspects of dining operations and services on the campus:

  • Facilities providing services - Price Commons, North Point Dining, Memorial Student Center.
  • Services - cafeteria services, convenience stores, restaurants, express locations, concessions, catering (on or off campus), food courts.
  • Functions - personnel, purchasing, menu planing, marketing, budget & capital planning, facility planning, training, project coordination, financial analysis, and customer satisfaction.

Duties:

Performs business and purchasing functions for all dining operations:

  • Prepare bids and contracts.
  • Coordinate the purchasing of food, equipment, and supplies.
  • Coordinate and manage software systems including FoodPro, Sequoia and TouchNet.
  • Perform business, operational, and financial analysis.
  • Assist in budget, capital, facility planning and project coordination.

  • Creates printed nutrition education materials
  • Counsels students with diet related issues
  • Conducts assessment of dining services customers' dietary needs and desires
  • Provides input into menu planning and special diet services
  • Provides nutrition analysis of cafeteria menu items
