Mission

To develop and offer quality undergraduate and graduate programs in technology, business, industry, management, communications, education, and training which meet the needs of our students and global society.

Values

  1. Students are our primary purpose for existing, and teaching these students is our most important function.
  2. Enhancing our teaching through applied research is an important activity.
  3. Applied research, professional service and outreach activities are undertaken to mutually benefit students, faculty, staff, and external publics.
  4. A hands-on, minds-on process is fundamental to our educational philosophy.
  5. Decisions are made primarily by consensus through the collaborative efforts of faculty, academic staff, support staff and students.
  6. Ultimate responsibility and authority for maintaining quality in staffing, teaching and curriculum resides with the faculty.
