Current UW-Stout Student


Step 1: Register Online via    Access Stout

Step 2: Fee Payment Plan Agreement

While in Access Stout, select Self-Service, then Student Center, then under the Finances label select Fee Plan Agreement. Follow the instructions and click Save.

First-time UW-Stout Student


Step 1: Complete a Registration Form

Print, complete and fax the registration form (PDF) to Outreach Registration at 715.232.2436 or mail it to Outreach Registration, University of Wisconsin-Stout, PO Box 790, 109 Bowman Hall, Menomonie, WI 54751.

Step 2: Activate Your UW-Stout Account

Once you are registered you will need to activate your UW-Stout email and password. You will need your university ID number and your date of birth. You will then be prompted to enter a security question to verify your identity should you ever forget your password. The top of the next page will tell you your user name and you will be asked to set your new password.

Step 3: Fee Payment Plan Agreement

While in Access Stout, select Self-Service, then Student Center, then under the Finances label select Fee Plan Agreement. Follow the instructions and click Save.

Note: Individuals should register for courses at least two weeks prior to the course start date to ensure access to the courses and all critical learning resources.

The student should be aware that the transfer of course/degree credit is determined by the receiving institution.
