Exciting changes are taking place in the world around us. As a result, the business world needs scientific leaders who can adapt to the rapid scientific and technical innovations the world has grown to expect. UW-Stout's new Applied Science program will prepare you for direct entry into these science careers. As a graduate of this program, you will gain the opportunity to pursue careers in pharmaceutical sales, biotechnology, materials science, nanotechnology, laboratory management or technical support for scientific equipment or chemical sales.

The Applied Science program emphasizes flexibility through a broad scientific base along with experience through a chosen career emphasis. The program encourages active learning by students. In a world of new products and processes, the program also fosters the creativity you will need to contribute to new advances.
