Basic Study Skills
Find a Good Place to Study
It is best to study at a table or desk. A bed or couch may cause daydreaming and even sleep.
Have Everything You Need With You
(Notebook, pen, book, etc.) The less you move, the less chance for distraction.
Have Regular Hours for Sleeping
This will increase concentration. If tired, take a short nap, move around, or read out loud to help you regain your concentration.
Get Exercise
The is a great stress reliever and it may also clear the mind.
Develop a Schedule
Plan everything into this schedule including: recreation time, sleeping time, study time, break time, etc. This will cut out wasted time and make you more efficient. Feel free to revise the schedule when needed. Use your time effectively. Try to stick to your schedule and avoid distractions.
