Tentative Course Schedule for 2013-2014

This program is offered on campus for four weeks from June 10-21 and July 8-19, 2013. There are no classes from June 24-July 5; however, do not plan vacation during these weeks as you will need to study, read and complete assignments. Participants will be in class Monday through Friday, 8:30 am-4:30 pm with weekends off for study. 


8:30 am Students meet together  - 224 Communications Technology Bldg

8:35-9:00 am Students receive parking permits  - 110 University Services Bldg and pick up textbooks - 201 Robert Swanson Learning Center

9:00-9:30 am Introduction and overview of the WTCS Summer Immersion Experience - 224 Communications Technology Bldg 

9:30-10:30 am Cultural and Cooperative Learning: Building a Learning Community - 224 Communications Technology Bldg

10:30-10:40 am Break

10:40-11:40 am Two former students, Janet Bauman and Jason Goeldner, from prior Immersion programs will share their experience via Skype - 224 Communication Technology Building.

11:45-Noon Student IDs - 110 Merle Price Commons

Noon-12:45 pm Picnic - South side of Memorial Student Center. All students and Immersion instructors are invited. If inclement weather, picnic will be held in Memorial Student Center Terrace.
