Earn Your WTCS 5-year license in one summer session at UW-Stout and by attending a weekend course in Fall 2012 and Spring 2013.

UW-Stout is offering a unique Summer Immersion Experience for new technical college instructors this summer. It is designed for individuals who need to complete five Wisconsin Technical College System (WTCS) certification courses. Individuals engage in an intense study of career and technical teaching areas including curriculum, educational psychology, teaching methods, guidance, and principles of career and technical education. Individuals who aren't teaching may struggle with the requirements of the program.

*Before being 5-year certified, a full-time instructor must have two years of teaching experience and a part-time instructor needs to have eight semesters of teaching.
